These terms govern bookings made with Energy Trails Africa LLC (UBI 606 283 035), a Washington State limited liability company, doing business as Energy Trails Africa.
How a booking works
Sending an enquiry commits you to nothing. A discovery call and a written proposal follow. A booking is confirmed only once a 30% deposit is paid.
Payment
The 30% deposit confirms your dates and is not refundable, whether you cancel six months out or the morning of departure. The remaining 70% falls due 14 days before departure. Full cancellation terms, including the refund tiers for the balance, are on our Booking and Cancellation Policy page.
What’s included and what isn’t
Your written proposal states exactly what is included. Flights, travel and medical insurance, and Kenya’s Electronic Travel Authorisation are never included in the price.
Travel risk
Our field trips involve travel to working industrial sites, remote areas, and wildlife areas. You are responsible for arranging appropriate travel and medical insurance before departure. Energy Trails Africa is not liable for the acts, omissions, or safety practices of third-party site hosts, transport providers, or accommodation partners.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here at the time of your booking is the version that applies to it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
